Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is known as the stress reliever and supportive meditation method that helps the body to resist diseases and stay healthy. Unlike other methods, this method does not require any hard meditation exercise but it includes simple restorative Yoga methods. The word restorative means restoring the energy and consuming it in other activities. Restorative Yoga includes use of supporters and supportive measures like inclining against a wall, lying on the floor and using Yoga Props to perform the exercise. Restorative Yoga relieves the body of the chronic stress and helps in active relaxation. Backbends, forward bends and inverted pose all the most popular and easiest poses of the Restorative Yoga technique. The Restorative Yoga mainly focuses on the flow of blood to the stressed parts of the body. As the flood flow becomes normal, the body parts become stress free and the person feels rejuvenated and refreshing. Long roll blanket, Eye Pillow, Yoga block and double fold blanket are the major props that can be used in performing Restorative Yoga exercises.

What to expect:
Attending a yoga class for the first time can create anxiety, but choosing what to wear should not. Yoga focuses on calmness, control and flexibility, so clothing should not interfere with achieving those goals. It should be a comfortable "second skin" that permits viewing alignment and making postural adjustments as needed.
Shoes
Yoga is typically practiced barefoot--you can wear shoes or sandals when traveling to a class.
Whether it’s a breathing exercise, meditation, or sitting quietly, a few serene moments help your mind segue from crappy Monday to yoga mode. This is also an opportunity to set an intention—a personal goal or hope such as becoming more patient or leaving stress at work—to meditate on during class.
